Designed around your idea

Make the important choices before you order

A considered way to plan a pet memorial figurine in Thailand using the photos you have, the details you remember, a Preview, and clear size and pricing choices.

01

Start with the photo you have

Choose one image that shows the face, coat and posture you want to remember. It need not be a new or professional portrait.

02

Keep the recognizable details

Prioritize the ear shape, marking, collar or familiar pose that makes this animal unmistakably yours.

03

Review before you commit

Check an image Preview, then select the size, base and final options. The full price appears in Thai baht before payment.

Before you decide

From your idea to a physical model

Understand the photo, style, size, price, and production considerations before you commit.

Start from your pet's photo

Begin with the picture you already have

When a pet has died, there is no opportunity to take a better reference tomorrow. The useful photo is not necessarily the sharpest portrait in your camera roll. It is the one that shows the expression, markings or posture you most want to remember.

Miniu begins with one primary photo. A full-body image makes the shape and legs easier to assess. If you only have a close-up or a cropped picture, the unseen parts have to be interpreted; they cannot be reproduced from information the image does not contain. Use the photo-selection guide to compare the images you have, or contact Miniu before ordering if the reference is unclear.

Decide what makes this pet recognizable

Try naming two or three features before thinking about extras. A folded ear, pale patch on the chest, curved tail, favourite sitting pose or everyday collar may carry more meaning than an elaborate scene.

  • Shape and coat: identify markings that remain visible at a small size.
  • Posture: choose the calm, playful or attentive pose you actually associate with them.
  • Personal objects: include a collar or small item only when it adds meaning and can be made sturdy enough.

Put those priorities in the request field. For a name on the base or a particular object, check the options available during ordering or message LINE @miniu_bkk before committing. Not every detail works at every size.

Know what the Preview can tell you

After selecting a photo and style, you see an image Preview of the intended direction. Use it to check the main colour, posture, composition and recognizable features before choosing the size, base and final options. It is not a rotatable 3D production model, and it cannot promise that every fur strand or colour transition will appear identically in the printed piece.

If one small marking is essential, examine it in the Preview and ask the team about feasibility before paying. Thin or tiny parts may need adjustment to withstand physical production. How Miniu works explains the difference between this decision stage and manufacturing.

Make room for the details that matter

A 4 or 6 cm figurine can convey a simple silhouette and main colours. 8 cm is a useful starting point when facial shape, coat markings or a collar should read more clearly. A 10 cm or larger piece gives the model more room, but size alone does not guarantee likeness. Compare the options in the figurine size guide.

The current one-subject starting prices are ฿1,000 for 4 cm, ฿1,500 for 6 cm, ฿2,500 for 8 cm, ฿3,600 for 10 cm, ฿5,700 for 12 cm and ฿10,000 for 15 cm. Base choices, accessories or special requests can affect the final amount. Check current pricing and the full THB total before payment.

If this is a gift, let the owner lead

A figurine can be a welcome way to keep a familiar presence in view. It can also be too much, too soon. Rather than surprising someone just after a loss, ask whether they would like a keepsake made from their pet’s photo. Let them choose the image and respect a no or a not-yet.

The cat photo on this page shows a real Miniu print, so you can inspect the scale and finish. It does not represent a customer’s memorial commission. For everyday pet figurine ideas, see the broader custom pet figurine page. For caring for a finished piece, read the resin figurine care guide.

Most orders need about 3-4 weeks after payment for production and delivery within Thailand. If you are unsure about the photo or the base, contact LINE @miniu_bkk before starting.

Useful answers

Questions before you start

Practical answers about photos, Preview, pricing, timing, payment, and delivery.

Can I order with just one photo of a pet who has passed away?

You can start with one primary photo. Choose the image that best shows the face, coat and pose you hope to preserve. If it is blurred, obstructed or tightly cropped, contact Miniu before ordering so the team can assess how much would need to be interpreted.

Will an old phone photo work?

Often, yes, if the features you care about are visible. A new photo is not required. Strong blur, darkness or missing body parts make an accurate interpretation less certain.

Can I include a name, collar or favourite pose?

Describe the collar, coat markings and pose that matter most. Name and base options depend on what is available and practical for the chosen size. Check the options and total before payment, or ask Miniu about a specific idea first.

Is the Preview a rotatable 3D model?

No. The Preview is an image used to check the style, pose, colours and main details before you choose physical production. It is not a 3D file you can inspect from every angle, and the finished figurine may differ in small details.

What size should I choose for a pet memorial figurine?

Consider 8 cm when the face, coat pattern or collar is important. Smaller sizes suit a simple silhouette; 10 cm and larger allow more room for visible detail. No size guarantees an exact likeness.

How much does a pet memorial figurine cost?

Starting prices for one subject are ฿1,000 at 4 cm, ฿1,500 at 6 cm, ฿2,500 at 8 cm, ฿3,600 at 10 cm, ฿5,700 at 12 cm and ฿10,000 at 15 cm. Bases, accessories, additional subjects and special details may change the total, which is shown before payment.

Is a memorial figurine a good gift after someone loses a pet?

It may be meaningful to some people, but not everyone wants a new keepsake immediately after a loss. Ask gently before making it a surprise, and let the owner choose the photo and whether the timing feels right.

How long will production and delivery take?

Allow approximately 3-4 weeks after payment for preparation, production, finishing, packing and delivery within Thailand. This is guidance rather than a guaranteed arrival date. If a date matters, contact LINE @miniu_bkk before ordering.
